Thomas P. Cox, ARM
Tom Cox brings over 15 years of health care and insurance experience to PhillipsCox. Most recently Tom was with The Medical Protective Company, as the General Agent for Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia and D.C. Other experience includes handling product, pollution, and general liability claims for Waite Hill Insurance Services; and, working as a physician and hospital risk management consultant with The Reciprocal Group.

Tom has developed and facilitated a wide range of presentations on insurance, health, and risk management-related topics, and he has had articles published in such diverse journals as Forum Newsletter of the Risk Management Foundation of the Harvard Medical Institutions, Scholastic Coach, Virginia Medical Quarterly, Virginia Dental Journal, The Journal of Healthcare Risk Management, Athletic Journal, Physicians and Computers, and The Journal of Humanistic Education.

Carl V. Peterson, M.B.A.

Carl Peterson brings a broad base of experience to PhillipaCox. He most recently was with the NCRIC Group, where he started in the underwriting department and, just prior to joining PhillipsCox, was Vice President of Marketing.

Carl received his MBA from Johns Hopkins University.
